So wordpress is being lame won’t let me delete my blog. How long has girl got to wait for this confirmation link before it’s a done deal.

Well, anyways this is just a post saying this blog is done. And I will probably be making it private by tomorrow morning.

I guess this is just a little heads up, so it’s not a complete slap in the face when it says you need a password.

It’s been real, people.

Mother: So, I there was an interesting voicemail left on the phone for you this morning…

Me: And?

Mother: It was about your interest in taking a photojournalism project in Nepal?

Note to self, make sure all calls regarding such subject go to my cell phone not house phone…

Now, obviously I am old enough to make my own decisions without my mothers consent, but you understand how mothers are.

edwestwick

Seriously, when did Ed Westwick get so attractive?

During the first season of Gossip Girl (which I am totally not ashamed, not even a little that I watch) I never really though much about him. It was “Omg, Dan Humphrey is a stone fox” but towards the middle of the second season I was like  “Oh heyyy, sup, Chuck Bass?”

A friend and I were debating if we liked Chuck Bass or Ed Westwick. My friend likes Chuck Bass and doesn’t think she would be attractive to Ed Westwick in real life. Where as I think the opposite. I think I would be attractive to Ed Westwick in real life. Maybe that lovely british accent has something to do with it…

Anyways, on to more pressing issues.

I am a little sad to see that my reader stats have gone down quite a bit. I am thinking this is because I have ceased talking about my personal life and whereabouts so much on here.

FACT I have become a bit of a recluse

FICTION I dislike reading your guys comments, even if I don’t reply straight away

Now that awkward bit is out of the way onto something I need right now and that would be this coat by Vivetta.

SO cute, right?

Tyler and I just spent a good amount of time youtubing John and Edward videos. Our favorites are the following…

Kind of really amazing.

New Moon

So my friday night has been super exciting, as always.

I went downtown with my younger brother for First Fridays, visited my friend Peggy Noland, and ate one too many fun size snickers.

Now, I am currently planted on my couch watching Grey’s Anatomy while sipping hot cider. Oh yeah, be jealous.

I feel like everyday my life gets a little sadder.

For example, my total excitement about New Moon.

Who else got their Vanity Fair with R. Patt on the cover?

And who can’t wait for the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar?

Seriously, I haven’t bought a Harper’s Bazaar since 2004, because frankly it really went downhill. But this editorial is enough for me to pony up and buy it.

And let me end this with a quote from my mother:

“I don’t know why you girls love that boy from Twilight so much. He looks dead even when he is not filming…and what was with the makeup in that movie? Even Angel looked better than that.”

Kettering

This post is pretty much going to be ALL videos.

Here are some songs that I am currently in love with.

The Antlers – “Kettering”

After seeing them play in Brooklyn, I pretty much have been listening to them NONSTOP. They are amazing live. I regret passing them up so many times.

The xx – “Night Time”

They are good live. Although, I am not sure if it’s band I would want to see repeatedly. Once or twice is enough.

Jack Peñate – “Pull My Heart Away”

This is video is awesome. Mainly because it was shot on a super 8 camera.

Florence And The Machine – “The Drumming Song”

Her voice is  incredible. So glad that Lungs is finally out in the US. I am so bummed I missed her play in New York, I always leave on the wrong days…

The Rakes – “We Danced Together”

Am I the only one a bit sad that they have parted ways? This is a slight oldie but goodie of their’s.

The Maccabees – “Boom Boom Pow (Black Eyed Peas Cover)”

I was reminded how cute this is on Catalina’s blog. So I had to post it. 1:28 Orlando trying not to laugh = the greatest/cutest.

And some throwbacks. I’m talking waaaay back to 2006-2007.

Goodbooks – “Passchendaele”

Another band I am sad to hear broke up this year.

Blood Red Shoes – “It’s Getting Boring By The Sea”

Saw them play in Brighton and it was pretty good show. One day they’ll play the US.

We Are Scientists – “Inaction”

Remember when With Love And Squalor was such a big deal? “Inaction” was definitely one of my favorites but “Callbacks” was the ultimate jam.

Happy Halloween kids!

Seeing how I am not doing anything tonight except handing out candy and watching horror movies, what is everyone’s plans for this evening? What are you dressing up as?

sweaters

Lately, I’ve been buying a ridiculous amount of sweaters (thank you Fox & Fawn).

I think most of them make me look like I’m 12 but I love them nonetheless.

I really want to have a cute sweater party this winter.

Although, I really think this party will only consist of myself and my dog sitting on the couch watching Bridget Jone’s Diary or Love Actually while I eat an incredible amount of cookies and/or cupcakes. Oh heyyy dentures*, sup?

*I am assuming that due to the amount of sweets I consume, my teeth will fall out and I’ll have to wear dentures by the age of let’s say 25…

Hello, I’m reporting from sickville (aka my germ infested room, aka hell) I realised I haven’t really updated this thing with some fascinating news.

Well, nothing really fascinating to update with. Yes, I was just in NYC and yes I could cook up some neat stories, but due to being sick (and slightly lazy) I’ll have to save those stories for later.

Real talk, though. Having this for breakfast again, looks significantly better than the coffee and bagel I am trying to consume now.

Roebling Tea Room, come back to me.

Oh, you can look at pretty pictures that I like and inspire me on my tumblr.

New level

Alright, this is a new level of bordem, I am blogging from my phone while waiting at the airport.

Functioning on zero sleep, I arrived at the airport at 4:30am after a hellish ride with a taxi driver that hated NYC and loved his farm to find out that my 6am flight had been delayed by an hour. Awesomeness.

And since the Kansas City airport is super classy and doesn’t have anything open until 5 or later. I sat outside of the Starbucks like the coffee crack hoe I am until the opened.

Now, I am currently on my second (of many to come) cup of coffee, listening to my iPod, as I sit here tapping my foot nervously while I dream of taking a sleeping pill and drifting to sleep on the plane.

Let the misadventures begin.
