I’ve been listening to Little Joy quite a lot since I’ve seen them.
Their album is amazing, amazing.
Again, if you haven’t seen them live, you really should. SO GOOD!
I don’t think I’ve ever met such lovely people. Everyone was incredibly warm and kind. They treat you as if you’ve known them for years.
And I think Binki Shapiro and Fab Moretti are the cutest little couple ever.
Unattainable is one of my favorites at the moment
only when the goal is unattainable/ do I start to feel like I’m losing myself/ and this deep secret/ that hasn’t come out yet/ is buried down deep with the rest/ I can’t coerce you into this one/ jealously lay all your spells to bed/ I’ll choose unloved instead/ if only songs were sung to guide the doubtful ones/ beyond the rough where not as much is good enough/ oh, if you find yourself amongst the lonely ones/ I will be waiting here with open arms/ I can’t coerce you into this one/ jealously lay all your spells to bed/ I’ll choose unloved instead
I really need to finish off that roll of film and see if there is anything good on it from that night.

Just listening to some old records.
Otis Redding – “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long”
Billie Holiday – “Strange Fruit”
James Brown – “This Is A Man’s World”
