Kelsey and I are going to see Oasis in Chicago.
(okay, it’s not until December, but still…)
Now, we are waiting for the Blur reunion.

Tru TV is my new favorite channel. I don’t know why I haven’t been watching this channel. I am currently watching Dominick Dunne: Power, Privilege & Justice, it’s the Gucci story. It’s pretty much the most amazing thing ever. Almost like a soap opera. You have son that sends his father to jail, a cousin who gets his other cousin exiled and then a crazy ass gold digging wife who gets her husband gunned down. Maurizio’s wife was mad about her 150K monthly allowance being cut back to 90K because the company was going bankrupt and then went bat shit crazy and decided she wanted to have her husband killed…
My blog posts get more pointless everyday.
Today, I was told, “I’m just one of guys,” by my manager.
This creepy old guy that comes in everyday at 3 o’clock continued to harass me about how I have such a “deep, raspy voice”, every freaking day it’s the same thing. I don’t think my voice is that deep OR raspy.
My answer to his question was “because I drink whiskey all day and chain smoke.” Only partially true. Conclude what you will.
I am on my 8th day in a row at work. 2 more days left.
More crazy tales about my lovely customers at the bux.
In the past two days, I’ve been “healed”, had my ear talked off about conspiracies, and given a crazy weird letter that COULD have been really good and made sense, but instead it was disconnected, scattered and I really have no clue what he was trying to say. I shall post the letter later.
I am pretty sure I want to perform a hysterectomy on myself. Goodness, the pains of being a girl… TMI?

So freaking good.
Hayley grab your violin and I’ll grab my clarinet, we are hitting the road! Or rather get your box ready!

I am not going to lie, I definitely own 21 Jumpstreet on DVD…this may not be surprising to some because I also buy NKOTB and Yo! MTV Raps trading cards and try to give them to everyone. I also still think my Michael Jackson badges circa Billie Jean are some of the best things I’ve bought at Uncle Fun to this day.
I am thinking about staying in NYC through November now…Halloween in NYC could be rad. Downside, I would miss TV on the Radio playing in Oklahoma City which is only a few hours away from me…
Shows coming up for me:
-Darker My Love/ The Dandy Warhols
- Beck/MGMT???
-Delta Spirit/Dr. Dog
-Sunset Rubdown
-A Place To Bury Strangers
Alright, two bands you should check out from New York are Amazing Baby and Violens. I was introduced to them by a friend and they are pretty good. I am going to try and catch them while in NYC.
&
Other things I am listening to at the moment over here.
You should really listen to ALL of “Metanoia” and “Kissing The Beehive.”

Well, tomorrow morning is the start of New York fashion week. And those of us that are not lucky enough to be in NYC during this time will be glued to our computer screens refreshing our page constantly for up to date news on our favorite designers for SS/09
Who are you most excited to see?
I am anxious to see Rag & Bone, Nicole Miller, Erin Fetherston, Charlotte Ronson, and Zac Posen.
I’ve been told to pick up the most recent issue of Interview. Apparently, it’s getting good again!
My guiltiest of guilty pleasures has finally finished downloading on iTunes. That would be Gossip Girl. I forgot to program my DVR for it to record. :/
And apparently the girl who plays Jenny (Taylor Momsen) is going to start modeling? Photos from fashionista.com
tea, toast and gossip girl before I head into work this evening.
P.S. the weather has been strange here lately. from 90s to barely 60s and rainy.
Way over due post.
My dear friend Malia suggest that I come out to the St. Louis date for F Yeah Fest. I wasn’t familiar with any of the artists except Matt & Kim and Dan Deacon who weren’t going to be at the St. Louis date.
I almost think that no trip is complete with out me getting lost or just some really awkward situation happening.
The drive out to St. Louis is always a horrible one. I can’t explain it but it just is. It’s only a four hour drive, 5 if you hit traffic but it seems longer.
Anyways, half way to St. Louis I needed to get gas and I see a sign for a Conoco at the next exit. I like to stick with places I know when I stop of to get gas, none of that those weird rundown gas stations.
This definitely was unlike any Conoco I’ve EVER been to. I pulled into the gas station to be greeted with this hand painted sign.
Needless to say, I didn’t get gas at this station.
On to the next misadventure, missing my turn back onto the highway. Now, you would think I could just turn around and go back on the highway. Definitely couldn’t or else I would have. Instead, I had to take this long winding road to the next available way to the highway. Pretty much the weird children of the corn type shit.
After 20 mintues (it felt like an hour) of that nonsense, I finally made it to St. Louis.
